James E. Bartolomei
is the founding and managing partner
of Bartolomei Pucciarelli.
Areas of Practice:
In 1986, after five years in public accounting, Jim opened an accounting firm in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Today, after more than seventeen years of experience helping closely held
businesses, Jim provides a variety of
accounting, tax and consulting services to these types of
companies, ever mindful of the unique challenges facing their owners. In
addition, Jim performs peer reviews of
accounting firms to evaluate their compliance with
the professional standards promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants.
Jim
divides his time between managing the day to day
operations of Bartolomei Pucciarelli and working with clients. He is charged with
making sure that the firm’s services, procedures, marketing and
client services are consistent with its vision statement. Jim understands and
demonstrates that when the firm delivers on its
stated objectives,
its clients will benefit in numerous ways.
Jim
is also spearheading Bartolomei Pucciarelli’s
initiative to provide its clients with sound, independent financial planning
services. He sees this as an integral part of
the firm’s vision– increasing its clients’ financial net
worth.
Education:
Jim is a graduate of Rider University, Class of
1981, with a BS in Accounting and Computer Science.
Professional Organizations and
Community Work: Jim
Bartolomei is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA).
He serves on the Greater Mercer County Chamber of Commerce Business
Council Seminar Series committee; is the Treasurer of School Monies for the
Trenton and Hopewell Valley Boards of Education; coaches Little League; and is Secretary
of the Board of Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey.
Jim is also a member of the Montgomery/Rocky Hill Rotary
and serves as Treasurer for its fundraising foundation.
