Joseph Schwendt merged his accounting practice with Bartolomei Pucciarelli after thirty-seven years as a member of a Professional Association and Sole Practitioner in Lawrenceville, NJ. He is a Principle with the firm.

Areas of Practice: As an experienced advisor, Joe has guided small to medium sized business through corporate, partnership, trust, non-profit, gift, estate, individual tax returns, and preparation of financial statements. He also performs peer reviews of accounting firms to evaluate their compliance with the professional standards promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Joe's industry concentrations include various professional service organizations, real estate developers, construction contractors, manufacturers, wholesale distributors, retail and not-for-profit organizations.

Joe has served as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rider University for 15 years, and has lectured many times to Professional Accounting Organizations and many community and service organizations. He has been qualified as an expert witness in financial statement analysis, business, estate, and matrimonial valuations by various courts in New Jersey and Florida.

Education and Certifications: Joe is a graduate of Rider University class of 1965 and 1968, with BS and MA degrees. He is a member of the National Honor Fraternity Delta Pi Epsilon. He is licensed as a CPA in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also a licensed Public School Accountant in the State of New Jersey.

Professional Organizations: Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Public Accountants, and the New Jersey Association of Public Accountants. He has served as a Chapter Officer, State Trustee, State Vice President, and Associate State Director for several of these organizations.
